As an Asset Inspector, you\u2019ll be responsible for the inspection, assessment, and reporting of overhead and underground power assets, as well as surrounding vegetation. This will be a drive in drive out role, working 10 days on and 4 days off. This is a dynamic, hands-on field-based role offering both variety and long-term career prospects in the energy and utilities sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspecting powerlines, power poles, and associated electrical infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and reporting defects on assets and vegetation encroachments<\/li>\n<li>Conducting vegetation assessments and issuing notices to landowners<\/li>\n<li>Planning and scoping for maintenance and upgrade works<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on tasks such as replacing wires, repairing earths, and installing pole reinforcements<\/li>\n<li>Entering data accurately via Western Power systems (iPad)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll need:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cert II or III in ESI \u2013 Asset Inspection (preferable)<\/li>\n<li>White Card<\/li>\n<li>Valid C-Class Driver\u2019s License or higher<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, data entry on iPad)<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and landowners<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What\u2019s in it for you:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$250 per night live-away allowance (when required)<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy the freedom of more independent work!<\/li>\n<li>Weekly pay and regular rostered breaks<\/li>\n<li>DIDO roster (10 days on and 4 days off)<\/li>\n<li>Full training provided<\/li>\n<li>Company vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Uniform provided<\/li>\n<li>Secure, long-term opportunity with career progression pathways<\/li>\n<li>Be part of a growing and essential industry contributing to WA\u2019s infrastructure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>How to apply:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To complete your application for this position please click on the &quot;APPLY&quot; button below.
