This is a permanent, full-time role for someone with strong leadership experience in heavy plant maintenance who is ready to oversee workshop operations and lead a team of fitters, technicians, and apprentices.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and supervising workshop staff including HD fitters, trade assistants, and apprentices<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating daily workflow, job scheduling, and overall workshop operations<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing off-hire inspections and repairs for returning machinery<\/li>\n<li>Managing planned servicing, preventative maintenance, and component changes<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the assembly and fit-out of new machines including attachments, hydraulics, and safety gear<\/li>\n<li>Engaging and managing external contractors such as auto-electrics, hydraulics, and NDT specialists<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring workshop safety, compliance, housekeeping, and OEM-spec standards<\/li>\n<li>Supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes and workshop efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll need:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Fitter, or similar<\/li>\n<li>HR licence (advantageous but not essential)<\/li>\n<li>5+ years\u2019 experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, or Workshop Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Confident communicator with strong leadership and team management skills<\/li>\n<li>Organised and able to manage multiple jobs at once<\/li>\n<li>High focus on quality, safety, and compliance<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in maintenance of heavy plant including excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, graders, and water carts<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Full working rights in Australia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What\u2019s in it for you:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Permanent, full-time role based in Redcliffe<\/li>\n<li>Laptop, phone, and potential car for the right candidate<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to lead a skilled workshop team<\/li>\n<li>Long-term job security in a reputable organisation<\/li>\n<li>The chance to make a real impact on workshop operations and heavy plant maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>How to apply:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To complete your application for this position, please click on the &quot;APPLY&quot; button.
