This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified horticulturist who enjoys working outdoors, leading a small team and maintaining high standards across prominent public spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work across commercial sites, including train stations and public areas around Osborne Park and Perth\u2019s southern suburbs. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can complete landscape maintenance duties while coordinating the daily activities of other team members.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a purely supervisory position. Our client is looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside the team, allocating duties and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing hands-on leadership to a small landscaping team<\/li>\n<li>Allocating daily duties and coordinating work across different sites<\/li>\n<li>Completing commercial landscape and garden maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, weeding and maintaining garden beds<\/li>\n<li>Planting, turf installation and general horticultural work<\/li>\n<li>Operating landscaping tools and equipment safely<\/li>\n<li>Identifying plant diseases, pests and general maintenance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll need:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certificate III in Horticulture<\/li>\n<li>Previous commercial landscaping, gardening or grounds-maintenance experience<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience as a Leading Hand or supervising a small team<\/li>\n<li>Strong practical knowledge of plants, garden maintenance and landscaping equipment<\/li>\n<li>A full WA driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>A current White Card where required for the sites<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work effectively in public and high-traffic environments<\/li>\n<li>A reliable, hands-on and professional approach<\/li>\n<li>Experience working at train stations, public spaces or other commercial sites would be highly regarded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What\u2019s in it for you:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive casual hourly rate plus superannuation<\/li>\n<li>Immediate start<\/li>\n<li>Varied commercial sites across the Perth metropolitan area<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to lead a small landscaping team<\/li>\n<li>A hands-on role combining horticulture, maintenance and team leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>How to apply:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To complete your application for this position, please click the \u201cAPPLY\u201d button.
