This is a great opportunity for someone with strong scheduling and fleet coordination experience who can work confidently in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<p>The role will suit someone who is organised, solutions-focused and comfortable making quick decisions when plans change. You will work closely with drivers, customers, subcontractors and internal teams to keep daily transport operations running smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scheduling and coordinating daily transport movements, deliveries and collections<\/li>\n<li>Allocating drivers and vehicles efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Planning loads and maximising fleet utilisation and payloads<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring deliveries and ensuring customer delivery windows and KPIs are met<\/li>\n<li>Making quick scheduling changes when delays, breakdowns or other issues occur<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with drivers, customers, subcontractors and internal operations teams<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring driver hours and fatigue requirements<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate information in transport management systems<\/li>\n<li>Completing administration relating to billing, payroll, revenue capture and operational reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with fleet and maintenance scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring transport activities are carried out safely and in line with relevant requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What you\u2019ll need:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in transport scheduling, allocation or fleet control<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a busy transport or logistics environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Australian heavy vehicle compliance<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, mass\/load restraint and transport legislation<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage changing priorities and make decisions under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Good Excel, computer and transport management system skills<\/li>\n<li>Confident communication skills when dealing with drivers, customers and internal teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Full working rights in Australia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What\u2019s in it for you:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a busy and established transport operation<\/li>\n<li>Work in a fast-paced role where no two days are the same<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to use and build on your transport scheduling experience<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with a supportive operations team<\/li>\n<li>Long-term opportunity for the right person<\/li>\n<li>Play an important role in keeping daily transport operations running safely and efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>How to apply:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To complete your application for this position please click on the &quot;APPLY&quot; button.
