Carpenter/Skilled Labourer

Our client is seeking a full-time Carpenter / Skilled Labourer to join their team, based in Balcatta. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.

You’ll be working across aged care facilities, so a professional, respectful approach is essential, particularly when working in occupied environments. The role will suit someone who is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing:

• General handyman and maintenance work
• Roof tiling, minor roof repairs and leak rectification
• Fencing repairs and installations
• Remedial construction and basic carpentry works
• Room make-good works including carpet removal, patching, minor demolition and reinstatement
• Assisting with site clean-ups and material handling
• Representing the business professionally when interacting with site managers and staff

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer, Carpenter, Handyman, Maintenance Worker or Trade Assistant
• Carpentry experience highly regarded
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good communication skills and professional presentation
• Reliable and punctual with a team-oriented mindset
