They are now seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join their team and play a key role in bringing high-quality residential designs to life.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with the administration team to ensure client homes align with pre-construction requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare preliminary, planning, working and prestart drawings to support contract documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with NCC requirements, R-Codes, local shire policies and developer covenants for successful shire submissions.
  • Implement amendments to working drawings in line with approved variation orders.
  • Raise drafting clarifications to address design feasibility, compliance and shire feedback.
  • Liaise with engineers, energy assessors and surveyors to ensure all information is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within residential construction or building drafting.
  • Certificate IV in Residential Building Drafting (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proficient in Archicad with the ability to produce accurate, build-ready documentation.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Solid working knowledge of the NCC, Residential Design Codes and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ability to interpret DAPs, LDPs and structural engineering documentation.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building principles.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome design and compliance challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience producing working drawings and contract documentation.
  • Capable of working autonomously while managing deadlines and priorities.
  • Honest, reliable and professional, with a positive approach to your work.
  • Team-focused mindset with a genuine can-do attitude.
  • Full, unrestricted rights to work full-time in Australia.
