Our client is a well-established plumbing services business delivering projects across the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to play a key role in project pricing, tender preparation and cost analysis, supporting the successful delivery of projects across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing plans, drawings and specifications
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Completing quantity take-offs and material assessments
  • Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor pricing
  • Conducting cost analysis and identifying project risks
  • Developing and maintaining estimating records and pricing data
  • Supporting project handovers and liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement of estimating processes and systems
  • Monitoring market costs and pricing trends
  • Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
  • Providing commercial insight to support business decision-making

What You'll Need

  • Previous estimating experience within plumbing, construction, building services or a similar trade environment
  • Strong ability to interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience preparing detailed costings and tender submissions
  • Sound commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience using estimating, project management or trade-based software systems
