Commercial Electrician

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Electrician to join their growing team in Perth. This is a full-time, field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites, including shopping centres, building sites, and fit-out projects. The role offers a mix of reactive and planned maintenance, along with fit-out and new installation work, providing a strong variety day-to-day. Electricians will be provided with a company vehicle and will work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Attend sites to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including lighting, power, and switchboards
• Complete commercial fit-out installations including lighting, power, data, and switchboards
• Perform new electrical installations across construction and commercial sites
• Install and upgrade lighting systems, including LED and emergency lighting
• Run, terminate, and test cabling
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
• Conduct testing and ensure compliance with Australian standards
• Liaise with site managers, builders, and clients regarding job progress
• Work independently in a company vehicle or within a team on larger projects
• Attend occasional service call-outs (optional)

What you’ll need:

• WA Electrical Licence and valid driver’s licence
• Experience in commercial maintenance and fit-out projects
• Ability to work autonomously with strong decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation
• Team-oriented, reliable, and easy-going
• EWP experience highly regarded
