Finance Manager

Our client, a respected engineering and manufacturing business and part of a global group listed on the London Stock Exchange, is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead their Finance & Administration team in Malaga. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded financial leader who thrives in a hands-on role where they can drive financial performance, lead a high-performing team, and partner with the business at a strategic level. You’ll report directly to the GM Finance and play a key role in compliance, reporting, forecasting, and financial planning—while supporting continuous improvement, systems development, and audit readiness.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing financial and administration functions
  • Managing annual audits and compliance
  • Leading, developing, and empowering the finance team
  • Preparing management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
  • Monitoring cash flow and treasury management
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Driving process improvements and risk management
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to company goals
  • Mentoring and developing a small, capable finance team
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes and ensuring audit readiness
  • Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification
  • 5+ years in a similar role
  • Strong statutory reporting, compliance, and audit experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI proficiency
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and treasury functions
  • Effective leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
