Property Management Assistant – Subiaco

Our client is a Real Estate Agency nestled in the vibrant community that is Subiaco. As the Property Management Assistant, you will support a high-performing Senior Property Manager while gaining hands-on experience across a diverse hybrid portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow within the industry, build strong tenant relationships, and develop the skills needed to progress into a Property Manager role. What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with routine inspections and property condition reports
  • Support with final bond inspections and follow up as required
  • Manage inbox enquiries and provide clear, timely communication to tenants and landlords
  • Prepare lease documentation, renewal notices, and associated paperwork
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in monitoring rental arrears
  • Advertise rental properties with high-quality and professional marketing
  • Handle maintenance requests and liaise with trades efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Property Manager to ensure seamless portfolio management
  • Work respectfully and cooperatively in an open-plan team environment
  • Learn and adapt AI tools and technology to improve efficiency

What you’ll need:

  • 1–2 years experience in a Real Estate Agency (highly considered)
  • Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using IRE and Property Me (preferred but not essential)
  • Willingness to learn legislation and stay current with industry updates
  • A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-focused mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and support multiple deadlines
  • Ambition to develop into a Property Manager role
