Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a premium shopping experience.
- Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and development.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.
- Manage stock control, stock takes, replenishment, and loss prevention.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Monitor store housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist with administrative duties.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are adhered to at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 2–4 years’ supervisory experience within a fashion, apparel, footwear, or branded retail environment.
- Proven experience leading and motivating a retail sales team.
- Strong sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good numerical ability and administrative skills.
- Experience with POS systems and retail reporting.
- Ability to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Well-groomed, professional, and fashion-conscious.
- Reliable transport to and from Walmer Park Shopping Centre.
- Must be available to start immediately.
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience working for a national fashion or apparel retailer.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
- Experience with stock management and shrinkage control.
