Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and quality improvement initiatives
- Drive manufacturing process optimisation and operational excellence
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements
- Conduct internal, supplier and customer audits
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
- Mentor and support engineering and quality teams
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience within the automotive manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in engineering, quality and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Automotive Core Tools and VDA 6.3 Process Auditing is essential
- Experience conducting process, supplier and internal quality audits
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
