Fleet Controller

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Relevant qualification in Fleet Management, Logistics, Transport, or Administration will be advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Fleet Controller or similar fleet administration role.
• Experience managing company vehicles, including cars and trucks
• Fleet-related administration.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, licensing, insurance, and compliance.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using fleet management systems will be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the day-to-day management of the company fleet.
• Schedule and monitor vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Manage vehicle licensing, registrations, insurance, and fleet-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption, and driver compliance.
• Coordinate breakdown assistance and repairs when required.
• Liaise with service providers, workshops, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant road traffic legislation.
• Assist with the allocation and tracking of company vehicles.
• Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and vehicle damage.
