Laboratory Technician / Quality Controller( Gauteng)

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: National Diploma or BTech in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in titration, pH testing, and viscosity measurement.
• Software: Competent in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., Syspro/SAP).
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ethical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials and finished batches.
• Release certified products to production and packaging departments.
• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot out-of-specification (OOS) batches.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment.
• Document all test results precisely in internal quality databases.
• Assist chemical engineers with product development and formulation adjustments.
• Enforce health and safety regulations (OHSA) within the laboratory
