Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in a Technical or Maintenance-related field (NQF 5).
- Trade Test qualification (NQF 5).
- First Line Management Programme (FLMP) Certificate (NQF 5).
- Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1–2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Experience working shifts.
Advantageous
- Diploma in a Technical or Maintenance-related field (NQF 6).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum plant and equipment availability while minimising downtime.
- Manage maintenance schedules, job cards, work permits, and shutdown activities.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and company standards.
- Supervise and develop maintenance team members.
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
