What you’ll do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the wood, furniture and related markets.
- Use your industry knowledge to identify potential products, customers and market opportunities.
- Develop relationships with customers across furniture, office furniture, kitchen/cabinetry and related sectors.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
- Research market trends, customer needs and competitive activity.
- Work closely with management to evaluate and develop new commercial opportunities.
- Contribute to sustainable revenue growth through effective business development and customer engagement.
What you’ll bring
- Proven sales/business development experience within the wood, timber, furniture or closely related industry.
- Strong understanding of the wood products market and its customer base.
- Knowledge of furniture, cabinetry, kitchen, office furniture or related markets.
- A proven track record in new business development and customer acquisition.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
- Willingness to travel when required.
