C Developer

Location: Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application software using C.
  • Design and implement new software features.
  • Debug, test, and optimise existing code bases.
  • Produce technical design documentation for new functionality.
  • Collaborate with software and engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues while ensuring high-quality code.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of C programming experience.
  • Experience with microcontroller programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to take initiative.

Advantageous

  • Linux programming experience.
  • Git/GitHub version control.
  • Ability to interpret electronic datasheets.
  • Electronic hardware experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
