Code 10 driver with Forklift Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence.
• Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Grade 12 (Matric) preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Code 10 driver.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Good knowledge of South African road regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 10 heavy-duty vehicle to transport goods to customers and company sites.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Load and unload goods using a forklift.
• Secure cargo correctly before transportation.
• Complete delivery notes, logbooks, and other transport documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the truck and forklift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with warehouse duties when required.
• Report accidents, incidents, or damaged goods immediately.
• Adhere to company policies and road traffic laws.
