Requirements:
- Studying towards relevant Accounting and Tax qualification, Degree, or Higher Diploma
- 1 – 2 years of Relevant tax/accounting/ and bookkeeping experience
- Sage Pastel proficient
Responsibilities:
- Assist Accountant/Senior tax consultant with day-to-day bookkeeping duties on Pastel including but not limited to capturing bank statements, bank reconciliations, income statements, and VAT reports
- Process monthly journals as required by Accountant/Senior tax
- Keep filing of client documents up to date
- Compile management reports to be signed off by the Accountant/Senior
- Communicate details of outstanding client documentation to the Accountant/Senior tax
- Keep daily, progress and any other relevant reports up to date
- General admin duties as and when required
- Provide professional and effective tax and bookkeeping services
