About the Role
Key requirement
- British or EU passport
- Proven experience in project management within an electrical engineering, electrical contracting, construction or M&E environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, drawings, specifications and technical requirements
- Previous experience managing projects, contractors, suppliers and site teams
- Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling and cost control
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications
- Project management qualifications such as PMP, Prince2 or equivalent will be advantageous
Key responsibility
- Manage electrical projects from initial planning through to completion and handover
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, resources, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and project documentation
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality and delivery against agreed targets
- Work closely with engineers, site teams, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, technical documentation and project requirements
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and changes
- Prepare project reports, progress updates and other documentation as requied
