Our client is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organised Temporary Staffing Recruiter to join their team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment and administration of temporary employees, ensuring that client staffing requirements are met efficiently and that temporary staff are appropriately screened and placed 
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple vacancies and deadlines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the recruitment and placement of temporary employees according to client requirements.
  • Source candidates through databases, job boards, social media, referrals and other recruitment channels.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews and reference checks.
  • Verify candidate documentation, qualifications and relevant employment information.
  • Match candidates to suitable temporary assignments based on skills, experience, availability and client requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date candidate database.
  • Coordinate candidate placements, onboarding and assignment requirements.
  • Ensure all temporary employees have the necessary documentation and are compliant with company and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records.
  • Ensure all recruitment and staffing activities comply with company policies and applicable legislation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Recruitment, Business Administration or a related field will be advantageous but not mandatory
  • 2–3 years’ recruitment experience, preferably within a temporary employment services (TES), labour hire or staffing environment.
  • Previous experience recruiting high volumes of temporary employees will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience dealing with candidates in a recruitment environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive, energetic and solutions-driven approach.
  • Professional telephone manner and confident interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle will be advantageous but not mandatory

The successful candidate should be proficient in:

WORKING HOURS

Standard office hours, with flexibility required to accommodate the operational demands of temporary staffing, including early-morning, after-hours or weekend communication when necessary.

REMUNERATION

Market-related, based on experience and qualifications.
