Key Requirements
- Electronic Engineering Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience working with Medium Frequency (MF) and Radio Frequency (RF) electronics down to component level.
- Strong practical experience in PCB fault-finding, testing and repair.
- Experience working with a combination of digital and RF technologies.
- A genuine passion for electronics and technical problem-solving.
- Experience with:
- Component-level fault finding and repair of electronic PCBs.
- RF and MF coil tuning and board tuning.
- PCB testing, debugging and optimisation.
- Spectrum Analysers
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal Generators
- Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
- Attenuators
- Communications Testers
- Understanding and interpreting PCB circuits, BOMs and PCB layouts.
- Radio technology, including receivers, transmitters, ATUs and associated systems.
- Building and using electronic test equipment and test jigs.
- Prototype testing and qualification.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work on sophisticated radio and electronic systems, including prototype development, testing, field service and technical support to local and international clients.
