Our client is seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking and packing stock, loading deliveries, and maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Previous warehouse experience, even if limited
- Experience with picking and packing stock
- Experience loading stock into delivery vehicles
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Good warehouse operating skills and a willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual warehouse duties
- Must be available to start immediately
- Candidates living in Sidwell or surrounding areas will be preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picking stock accurately according to orders
- Packing and preparing stock for dispatch
- Loading stock safely into delivery vehicles
- Assisting with receiving, moving and organising stock
- Ensuring stock is handled carefully and correctly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Following all warehouse safety procedures and instructions
- Working effectively as part of a team
