Accountant

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Pastel, SAP, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with import/export regulations and logistics finance is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial transactions related to logistics and supply chain operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor and control transportation and warehouse costs.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Work closely with logistics and operations teams to improve financial efficiency.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to logistics services.
• Assist with audits and financial risk assessments.
