Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating Form Fill and Seal machinery in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Knowledge of packaging processes and machine settings.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- Understanding of GMP and food safety standards will be advantageous.
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Form Fill and Seal packaging machines efficiently and safely.
- Set up machines according to production requirements and product specifications.
- Adjust machine settings including temperature, speed, sealing and filling parameters.
- Monitor product quality and packaging standards throughout production runs.
- Carry out start-up and shut-down procedures on equipment.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot machine faults and report major breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- Ensure the correct film rolls, labels, coding and packaging materials are used.
- Maintain accurate production and downtime records.
- Minimise wastage and improve machine efficiency.
- Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP and Health & Safety requirements.
- Keep the work area clean and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Assist with stock counts and machine changeovers when required.
- Work closely with the Quality Control and Maintenance teams.
Industry Experience:
Experience in any of the following environments will be advantageous:
