Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing and data capturing.
- Experience in inventory control, production administration, logistics or supply chain.
- A qualification or minimum 2 years’ experience in Inventory Management, Production Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain will be advantageous.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with BOMs and production backflushing.
- Knowledge of inventory control, production, batch traceability, GMP, Food Safety and FIFO.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of ERP/PICK.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate production plans and assist with production scheduling.
- Prepare labels for all products manufactured.
- Check that labels have the correct product description, product code, batch number, date received or manufactured, expiry/best-before date where applicable and traceability information.
- Check label accuracy before release and ensure labelling follows company procedures.
- Record all raw materials received.
- Control the issuing of raw materials to production.
- Maintain accurate stock records and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Maintain FIFO stock control.
- Maintain production records and check production documentation.
- File production paperwork.
- Assist production supervisors.
- Maintain product and material traceability.
- Stand in to backflush raw materials against approved recipes.
- Process BOMs accurately and confirm quantities.
- Correct transaction errors and close production batches accurately.
- Participate in monthly and annual stock counts.
- Count and record inventory accurately and assist with investigating stock variances.
- Assist with production activities as required.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Follow GMP, Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
