Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-site workshop, production and operational activities.
- Drive productivity, quality, safety and operational performance.
- Partner with Technical Management to optimise production planning and labour utilisation.
- Oversee assembly, refurbishment, repairs, scheduling and dispatch operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and SOP implementation.
- Manage operational budgets, quotations, cost control and performance reporting.
- Lead and develop high-performing operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and legislative requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Engineering or related field
- Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal) is essential
- Valid Code 14 driver’s licence
- Own reliable transport
- Minimum 10 years’ operational leadership experience within commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, manufacturing, engineering or workshop operations
- Proven experience managing large teams across multi-site operations
- Strong financial acumen with budgeting, cost control and KPI management
