About the Role
Key requirement
- Degree or relevant qualification in Civil engineering
- Previous experience in a civil engineering or construction environment
- Responsible for supporting project delivery, overseeing engineering activities and ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Good understanding of construction methods, drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project locations nationwide
Key responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate civil engineering works on site
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and program requirements
- Carry out site inspections, setting out and surveying activities
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, subcontractors and clients
- Monitor construction progress and report on project performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate site records and technical documentation
- Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout the project
