About the Role
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- Valid South African Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP essential
- 3–5 years’ experience as a delivery driver within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Previous experience handling stock and assisting with warehouse operations
- Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge advantageous
- Clear criminal record
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Excellent driving skills with a strong safety record
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and customer-service orientated
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations
- Deliver and collect products, equipment and documentation from customers, suppliers and company branches
- Load, offload, count, inspect and secure stock before transportation
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurately documented and signed
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or mechanical issues
- Keep company vehicles clean, roadworthy and properly maintained
- Assist with receiving, checking, packing and dispatching warehouse stock
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with stock counts, inventory control and warehouse organisation
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all Occupational Health and Safety policies and company procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and colleagues
- Complete general warehouse and administrative duties as required
- Assist with any additional operational duties assigned by Management
