Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- A relevant qualification or certification in Production, Manufacturing, Operations, Inventory Management or a related field would be advantageous
- Additional training in quality systems, stock control or ERP systems would be beneficial
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing, production or operations environment
- Previous experience coordinating or supervising production activities and personnel
- Practical experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations
- Experience working with ERP or production management systems, including inventory and production transactions
- Experience in a regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Good understanding of production workflows, material flow and inventory control
- Ability to accurately use ERP systems for stock and production transactions
- Basic understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), stock replenishment, stock takes and inventory reconciliation
- Understanding of quality control principles, production documentation and traceability requirements
- Ability to interpret and follow production instructions, specifications and standard operating procedures
- Competent in computer applications and routine production reporting
- Strong organisational and coordination skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise daily post-processing production activities
- Allocate work and monitor progress against production schedules and priorities
- Lead and support permanent and contract post-processing personnel
- Assist with training, onboarding, timekeeping and day-to-day performance
- Ensure production activities are completed according to approved procedures, product specifications, quality requirements and safety standards
- Coordinate and carry out post-processing activities required to convert nanofiber materials into the required production format
- Safely operate relevant cutting, slitting and finishing equipment
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve production constraints and maintain an efficient workflow
- Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements to support planned production
- Coordinate the movement of materials into production
- Coordinate receiving, storage, issuing, transfer and return of raw materials, components, packaging and finished goods
- Handle, prepare and issue materials required for production
- Carry out controlled decanting and repacking of chemicals into suitable smaller containers where required
- Ensure chemicals and other materials are handled, labelled and stored according to applicable safety, quality and hazardous-material requirements
- Maintain appropriate stock identification, storage and rotation
- Ensure physical stock is organised and traceable
- Plan and conduct stock takes and cycle counts
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support corrective actions
- Accurately capture inventory transactions in the ERP system, including receipts, issues, returns and internal transfers
- Process production transactions in the ERP system
- Ensure materials and components are correctly consumed and finished or semi-finished goods are produced against the applicable BOM
- Ensure ERP inventory records correspond with actual physical stock
- Investigate or escalate inventory discrepancies
- Maintain BOMs and relevant production master data to accurately reflect approved manufacturing requirements
- Maintain complete and accurate production and inventory records to support traceability and reporting
- Monitor post-processing activities and finished products for compliance with applicable specifications and quality requirements
- Ensure materials, production activities and records are handled according to approved procedures and quality requirements
- Work with Quality to address non-conformances, stock discrepancies and production quality issues
- Support audits, investigations and corrective-action activities relating to production and inventory
- Ensure production and material-handling equipment is used safely and remains in suitable working condition
- Maintain clean, organised and controlled production and storage areas
- Ensure appropriate PPE and safety procedures are followed
- Ensure safe hazardous-material handling practices are followed
- Report equipment or workplace concerns
- Assist with developing and updating SOPs for post-processing and inventory management tasks
- Identify and support improvements to production efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, waste reduction and workplace organisation
- Communicate production status, stock constraints, discrepancies, equipment issues and other operational risks to the Post Processing & Stock Manager
- Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality and other relevant functions to support operational requirements
