Sales Representative

A growing business in the food service and FMCG industry is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join its team in Bellville South, Western Cape. This is a permanent role focused on developing new business and managing customer relationships across the Western Cape.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ FMCG sales experience
  • Food service industry experience highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Valid South African driver’s licence
  • Own reliable vehicle preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to travel extensively throughout the Western Cape (approximately 75%)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts
  • Visit restaurants, takeaways, caterers, hotels, and food service clients
  • Generate, manage, and follow up on sales leads
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports
  • Represent the business professionally in the market
